How much is a dyslexia assessment?

What happens during the assessment?
A full dyslexia assessment costs £575. This includes a comprehensive report with detailed recommendations for home and school.
A deposit of £100 will be required at the time of booking.

When the date has been confirmed and deposit received a questionnaire will be sent to parents/carers and school to gather background information in preparation for the assessment.
The assessment will last approximately 3 hours. It is a 1:1 session, where a range of tests will be carried out to investigate whether the learner has dyslexia or not.
The learner will be able to have breaks as required throughout.
What happens after the assessment?
Following the assessment, a detailed written report will be provided, explaining the findings and giving recommendations for school and home.
The report will follow SASC guidance and can be used as evidence for DSA applications..
What needs to be brought to the assessment?
If glasses or hearing aids are worn these should be brought to the assessment.
Any coloured glasses or overlays or fidget aids that are used need to be brought.
Please make sure you have a drink and snack available.
